So Im looking at the witness, the ps3 and the s4. Im going to get the grind base version of one of these boards.....I just cant decide on which one to get. I like to ride a 140-142 so they all have a nice size for me. The only thing is I havent ridden the S4. The witness was pretty locked in and I thought the ps3 was a little looser. Anyone have some comments on the boards and the s4
personal opinion but I find the S4 to be the best shape for cable out of those, definitely not the PS3. S4 will ride a little looser than the witness and release easier for air tricks, but still cuts harder and lands softer than the PS3
I started with the ps3 this year then got the s4. The ps3 really creates a suction on the water with air tricks and the s4 just seems to rlease quicker. Ps3 holds a better edge but not much better. I Broke my s4 and am now back to riding the ps3 I can def. tell the difference now that I switched back.If you can get a s4 or ps3 w/o grind base for cheaper I would the grind base is gonna get tore up just as quick . I have ground down the molded fins on both. They are both good boards but go with the s4.
made a thread like this a month back or so. top LF boards were the witness grind, and watson hybrid. I got a watson hybrid and love it. try to pick one up used and save some dough
