The carpet in my Malibu is peeling off the hull in a couple of spots in my storage areas. What type of glue do you all use to reattach the carpet to the hull? Thanks.

Sometimes the spray glue's aren't strong enough or thick enough to hold the heavy backed carpet in these boats. I still haven't found anything that will hold. If it's not on the side of the boat or in the gunwhales you may try staples.

Pretty common at most any auto parts store.

I've used waterproof contact cement from Home Depot, works great and holds great even on walls and such. Use a mini roller to apply it.

Spray glue in boat....come on?

Do this...scrape of the old excess glue and clean the area with a minieral spirit. Got get some contact cement from home depot and a throw away paint brush. Apply contact cement to both sides and let it get tacky for about 4 minutes. Stick and down and you will be good to go.
