Well just got my boat today. Anyone know a good place to get a bimini? I am in Nor Cal

Go to Tower Bimini. They are awesome. I dealt with Johnny. www.towerbiminis.com. They built a custom Bimini over the top of my tower on my 2005 Sea Ray 220 Select. I will post pictures tomorrow. Hey I just noticed you are in San Jose. They are in Morgan Hill. Go there you won't be disappointed.

Thanks, that was the place that I was recommended, they are a lot, should have researched all that I would have to buy with new boat..lol but yeah they are close, will look that route...pics to come

you can get the OEM one, but dont let the dealer install it.. They put a small D ring and screw that through your Gel Coat, which is not cool. At that point on each end are 2 straps that strap down from the bimini to the deck of your boat. I would like to replace the straps on my bimini with aluminum rods that connect to the tower like the rest of my bimini. Its also more rigid and dont have the gay straps hanging down..

Building a bimini is not rocket science. I built my own on my previous boat and loved it more than any off the shelf bimini.

Hey Jason. I have to work half a day today. I will post a pix after I get home. The cost is worth it. I don't usually like Bimini, but i like this one so much it actuality makes my tower look better.
