Hey, anybody remember me? Yeah I rode with a few of you guys a couple times and then fell off the face of the planet. Last semester was CRAZY at school. I didn't have any time for riding and eventually stopped checking the forums. So are you guys still out there? Chase? Patrick? Tim? Rich? David?

Better, thanks. The tendons are still tight in the morning once in a while and they just need a little stretching. I'll probably just be sure to stretch them out good before I ride, and take it easy on the water. How's your leg doing? Where are you in your recovery and when are you going to be able to ride again?

Wow. Sweet. Wasn't it a complete break as in "hey, look at my new joint"? I would have expected something like that to take a lot longer to recover from.

haha it was a complete break of two bones that you could look at very clearly without an x-ray (leg was torn open 50% around the circumference) took nearly 3 months for me to be allowed to walk again and then after 2 months of physical therapy, the doctor said i could do what i wanted so long as it doesn't hurt. that was late dec.

Oh, I didn't realize it was that long ago. I seemed to remember it being later in the fall. I guess I was comparing you to my buddy who busted his leg and was in cast for 6 months. But you were a "snap" and he was more of a "crunch" which might make a difference. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't doing something cool like a scarecrow ... he was doing something stupid like giving a piggy back ride to a 300 pound linebacker.

Weird, for some reason the thread list still shows Tim as the last poster for this thread.
