Grey plastic rub rail looks weathered. Any useful tips to restore it?

How about after cleaning. Does it require a protectant or finish?

I use super fine sand paper to rub out scratches, acetone to clean it and armor all to protect it. Mine is an 02 and looks like new for the most part.

Thanks for the info. I got acetone and a bag of rags at the Depot today (about 7 bucks) and knocked it out after work in about 1hr. It was ratty before but came out looking almost new after a quick coat of 303.
