Is the base plate or lack there of found on Ronix and the limited LF bindings applicable? I suppose they both released it at the same time. I thought that the DINE, DARK, and FLY cores were all the same tech.

If the Sesitec System 2.0 isn't the innovation of the year, I'll eat my own arm. Consider this a nomination.

swimsuit editions arent anything new they have been done for years but yes that was a good issue and yes it was the first for wbm to put out but sesitec 2.0 takes the cake for sure

Curious, David, is a list of previous years' winners posted anywhere (and honorable mentions too, or the ballot results)? (Sounds like I crave information).

Guess it would kinda fall in the same category as the Sesitec but the C Rail in the turn at the Projects is pretty Innovative

I think the hybrid epic is an amazing innovation...but... I've heard that it can only go for a few hours before you have to recharge it. I love the idea of riding behind a boat that makes little/no noise and runs on electricity, but every few hours seems like a major inconvenience. I'm going with Sesitec.

The baseless claim is not an innovation as all boots used that tech years ago. Them being very light...I guess could be...debatable. The award should be on it's way to Sesitec already. The 2.0 will change the sport.

sesitec did come out in 2008 but it came out LATE in 08 and it was decided that it would be better to count it as an 09 thing, especially to give it time to see what it could really do (Message edited by wakerider111 on July 28, 2009)

as for the baseless boots thing. i want to think that ronix has a bit more claim than LF simply because the baseless LF boots are the LIMMITED editions... hopefully i don't start an argument on this. OR if possible, they (LF and Ronix) can be lumped collectively. all the sesitec nominations got me thinking... would the Red Bull Wake Lab count as a nomination?

EPIC 23E is pretty amazing. Waterdork88, as far as recharge every hour. You charge as you go with a VW diesel 4 cylinder at low Rpms that allows you to run all day on about 5 to 8 gallons.
