That spill is in Suisun Bay, way downriver from the good riding spots.

Keyword: DOWN river meaning the spill won't affect the good riding spots.

it is just me or are you guys missing the key point here? i think the biggest concern is the environmental effects on the species, not that you cant' wakeboard at that spot right now....come on, put things in perspective

errr, ummmm. Nick you do realize this is a wakeboard forum, not a tree hugger forum. How's that for perspective?

ok rootc, how's this for perspective, most of us that wakeboard, have a life, and do more than wakeboarding, and don't revolve are life around it.

I bet the energy company responsible pays less of a fine than Howard Stern payed for a caller using the N word.

Knowing the Delta water, I would think the spilled diesel fuel is more like high octane now.

rootc,

Nice profile pic, congrats.

Idiotic response to Nick's comment. I've noticed you in the past to actually have some funny and thoughtful things to offer, but this time you sold yourself short.

yeah, from what i hear they took way too long to notify the proper people about it and that is something they will defiantly get fined for-think they might have been out there for like atleast a day tryin to clean it up before they released it. I just hope they were able to contain it. And as far as it affecting wakeboardin, doesnt sound like it was anywhere near waterways where you would board, think it was the pipeline that runs with the railroad tracks that end up going through suisun. I'm more worried about it messin up some of the duck clubs and the fishing around there myself
