Filled up last Saturday in case we were heading to the lake, and parked the truck for the week. Took it out Wednesday night and low and behold I am at a 1/4 tank.

So 24 gallons of Diesel gone. You do the math.

Time for locking gas caps. Not a bad idea really considering that a quickie siphon could get someone 80 bucks in fuel PDQ.

Happy trails all.

I had this happen during a houseboat trip a couple years ago at Orville.

Its a shame when people have to start stealing gas. Times are getting bad.

If you feel so empty
So used up, so let down
If you feel so angry
So ripped off so stepped on
You're not the only one
Refusing to back down
You're not the only one
So get up

Let's start a riot, a riot
Let's start a riot
Let's start a riot, a riot
Let's start a riot

They have a 'confession weds' on a local radio station. A guy admitted going to movie theatres and siphoning gas out of cars. He said he targeted certain cars like Hummers which don't have locking gas caps. He did it so much he and his buddy had not bought gas for their trucks for a month or two.

Ive got locking gas caps on my truck and yukon. I put em on when I was parking at the carpool lot. I recommend it, worthless punks will stop at nothing this just helps prevent it.

Stant probably makes one that is designed for that vehicle. Here is a link to one. I will check monday at work and see if this is an ok price or not. My company sells a fair amount of stant and I may have this part number in stock.
