the times screwed up the story. it was an open comp for wakesurfers. from groms to masters with a open class for the pros. go to nwwsa.org for more info. wake9.com for video and pics and kenstanek.com for more photos

What? Where? What paragraph? You mean the closed circuit paragraph?

The Seattle Times fixed the title in the print version on Sunday to remove "Wakeboard Pros" and titled the article: "Pros Ride a Wake." The comp obviously had numerous divisions not limited to pros, but I suppose the title is accurate to the picture of Alec who rode in the Men's Open/Pro division. A scanned version of the article is at http://slayshblog.com/?p=3077 What do they say -- any press is good press??

Yeah, the closed circuit paragraph. We all know its you. Even if they don't mention your name.

Correct, like Dale Earnhardt once said "Its better to be booed then have them not cheer for you at all, at least they know who you are" Any exposure to this new sport is good. The local paper down here (that helps me with my boat payment) prob. would have called it tubing or something! Hi Grace ! When is the next Sundowner?
