Would a 3' diameter jogging tamp help w/ anything or would it just take up more space? Seems it would help w/ spins & handle passes only, or .....?

You're right. You need a really big tramp if you want to train safely - without falling off and breaking your neck, that is.

I used to use one and did off axis 5's, tantrums, frontrolls and scarecrows, i just ran with a rope and did tricks off of it.

I used one of these for an entire off-season to learn a HS 3. Not nearly as good as a regular tramp, but for learning some basic handle passes in a one-bedroom flat, it did the job. I would much rather have a regular trampoline to get the air-awareness down.

If i "sack-up" & buy a full size tramp, I wont have a family room in my apt anymore, might possibly hit the ceiling fan & knock myself out. So back to the original question, would a jogging tramp be worth a should I keep practicing by jumping on the bed???
