Walt - water waslike butter, but alot of wood (trees) floaten everywhere, we did not even try to ride, because of the hazards in the water, we just idled the lake & had alot of RACER #5'S.

This year has by far been the worst for LUMBER floaten in the lake, be careful if your gonna ride, we are hitten MENDO next weekend lets make a plan to meet there.

Doug, I drove past lake Mendocino on New Years day and it was brown, which can be expected, but also had tons of floating debris. At the North East end of the lake, where the creek runs in, there was almost enough wood to go from shore to shore. We had so much rain that all the local lakes are going to be like that. I have seen Berryessa so bad you could not drive under the Putah Creek bridge due to a log jam. We were in an outboard and would constantly hear wood hitting the bottom of the boat.

Yeah - Peter, I made the rounds to look at both lakes as well, Sonoma is usually like this all of Jan. thru the 1st of March then good to go. Sonoma was really bad on Saturday.

I'm shooting for 1030 or 1100 if the weather is good.
My new tower might show up tomorrow so if the weather sucks I might install it.
