Camping in Socal

Does anyone know of a good spot to go camping and riding in socal area? Im in Riverside County and am looking for some place to camp and ride this weekend thats within a 3-4 hour drive.

Carlsbad lagoon you can get pulled at for a fee

And there is camping on the beach near there, just ask when you contact the lagoon for that info. Hope this helps!

4-5 hours is Lake Nacimiento. You also have Lake Silverwood, Big Bear Lake (cold and •••••••• Lake Elsinore (only good in the early early morning), Lake Piru, Castaic lake, and Pyramid Lake.

There best lakes are all in Central and Northern California...

Buena Vista will have the best camping spots. grass areas, right on the water. water is really good early mornings. not so good after 10 am though. shallow lake, but does not hurt the wake much at all. I would stay away from Piru for camping. gang banger central. worse than Naci.

colorado river on the CA/AZ stateline, specifically out of Blythe. it is a really cool place to ride/camp. it's called McIntyre Park. check it out online.
