I'm 6'3" and 290. What board would anyone recomend for me? I have big feet and some bindings are very tight(size 14 EEEE wide).
Thanks for any advise.

Doug, Take a look at the hyperlite Motive 144.
I would think that you would want to go with at least a 140 or bigger.
You should demo a bunch of bards before you buy.

Most of the binding manufacturers make a XXL binding that should fit you. I agree with Walt in saying that you should go for a 140+ length.

I'm 6'5" and 250 and don't have any trouble on a 141cm board.

Try the Sasquatch, made by Harry Henderson in Canada. I hear it exists but noone has ever seen it .

Doug,

I would say use something that is 142 and up. I weigh around 287 right now and I just hit my backroll again today. I had lost it for some time. I was around 75 percent on it last year. You will also need to ride a little faster than most. I ride the Parks 143. I ride around 24.5 mph. That gives me the best blend of the board feeling light and responsive, but, still lets me set a decent edge as well. I wasted a couple of years riding too slow. I was going out with gus that were just over 200 lbs or less and riding the speeds they rode. My board was always dragging. Regardless, have fun.....

Picking a board with wide tip and tail will help too.
Also have a look at the Double Up soul 145. Joyride vixen 145. HL TFD 142.

Or if you want really big you can allways get a LF Litium kiteboard, which appears to be a sized up subjekt. (It comes in a 145, so its not that much bigger)

you can see me riding my byerly finless 139 in my profile pic. I am about 6'4 and 280. I also have a parks 143 but it delaminated and hyperlite did a bad job fixing it so I don't ride it. I have size 14 feet and rode XXL hyperlite bindings for years but now I squeeze into XL zeus bindings.

YO YO I am 6'3" 220 and ride the HYPERLITE Charge 147. It honeycomb core and is in great shape. There have been guys as big as 6'6" 310lbs. and it seems to be the best board for them to get some pop.

If you are interested I am in the process of putting this board up for sale somewhere around $200...(we can always talk about the price) So keep my posted, or email me: imdills35@yahoo.com

Hyperlite Motive would be a great board for you. As you progress you can add the Premier fins on it to kick the performance up a notch.

I was just thinking, if your interested I would sell you mine "Motive 144". I am thinking about getting a Premier, as I have progressed, I purchased a Parks 143, but I am still not sure if I like it. I think the Premier would be somehere in between the two, which is what I am really looking for.

Anyway if yout interested let me know, it's in great condition and I have the Premier fins for it and the original stock fins too.

When I read the title "Big guy on board" all I can think about is Chris' Farley's and "fat man in a little coat"
