Whats up everyone..

A couple buddies and I have a pond that we have built some really sweet sliders in. We have alot more space and want to put up some more rails but are having trouble coming up with some new ideas..

Other than a 48ft Flat Bar, 72ft Roof-Top, 60ft A-Frame, 32ft Fun-Box(with a wallride), and a Kicker.. Does anyone have any ideas for what we should add to the pond? I dont need any plans... JUST ideas..

Thanks for you help..

Just stand in the water with your helmet on and let them jib your head!

you sould do a plain ol incline rail. one of my favorite to hit by far. Also a flat bar that is 2 pieces of trex wide and then has a banked rail attached to it that is also 2 pieces wide is very fun. Especially if you make it tall.

incline rails are a heap of fun. also a pyramid rail (eg: GB rail at the projects). Relentless rail style. Transfer box. Transfer to wallride. Wallride to rail.

Get some random stuff out there too. hand rails, road dividers, picnic tables, etc, etc.

Thanks everyone for all your ideas..
We decided to build some type of banked rail. We were going to do it about 15inch wide but changed our minds and made more of a wall ride. Right now it is 4 feet wide and 24 ft long with a 15inch ollie on, and it is SO MUCH FUN, but we are going to add another 8ft section to make it alittle bit longer. We are also going to do an incline rail BUT STILL WANT MORE IDEAS...

I will take some pics of the pond and our rails today so you guys can check it out..
Thanks,
CH

I got a pic of the pond from a distance and you can see most of our stuff. In the pic you can see the wall ride, flatbar, canoe jib, rooftop and our kicker. I love this place!!!

So when you build a ramp, what do you use for the top? How do you secure it to the bottom so that it does not move? Does anyone know of any plans or instructions for rail building?

We are working on getting a winch. we have put so much money into the rails and stuff that we have to wait on a winch. Right now we are pulling it with a 4 wheele and it works great!!!.. We have had several friends bring their winches out and they work great but with only 1 winch, you can only go one way. We can get in SO MANY MORE passes just pulling back and forth with the 4 wheeler so we actually prefer it.

I have thought about putting my jetski in there because most of it is waist to chest deep but there's so much grass and muck, , I would hate to suck it all up. PRetty sure it would ruin my jetski.

Jef, we used 4x4s to frame our ramp. we pounded of them into the ground far enough for them to be nice and solid. Obviously the back 2 posts need to be higher than the front. Then just connect the back posts to the front with a 2x6 at the slope you want your ramp to be.. OUr ramp is 4 ft tall, 8ft wide, and 12ft long and it seems to launch great! We used plywood for the top and then covered it with FRP board (bath board) from home depot or lowes. it's 33 a 4x8 sheet at lowes and 29.99 a sheet at home depot. GOOD LUCK.

Thanks everyone,
CH
