X-Dance Film Festival in Park City UT

Has anyone ever gone? I'm considering going just to see what's out there, If for nothing else than to get some ideas for projects and talk to some other people doing it... If anyone has been there can you tell me what it was like?

I was there last year, but I ended up going snowboarding during the day and attended the parties afterwards.

It's a mad house because you have all the "sun dance festival" people there from LA, but at the same time it's entertaining to see them all dressed up in their LA club gear waiting in the fricken cold trying to get into the parties..

My advice, if you can get tickets to the X-Dance awards show/events and on the party lists then "do it"! Otherwise you will need to play the BS game at the door trying to get in, even for the X-dance parties.

One of the nights we ended up at some Fuel party where they had a camera crews all over, free booze, and a DJ… However I did notice that the chick to guy ratio was pretty low..
Another night we attended some private house party, which was cool, but consisted mainly of LA people.. It was comedy because I was wearing a DC long sleeve ••••••• DC hat, and chicks kept asking if I was a pro snowboarders..


1) Get on some guest lists
2) Bring HOT chicks with you
3) Stay close to the main street downtown - because that's where everything happens
4) Bring business cards
5) Contact Jay Dutton and go snowboarding (check the snowboard section for this fellow wakeworlder and Park City local)
6) Have Fun!
