LF shane bindings (response system)
The Problem is that one of the parts does not fit into the other (is not flush to other plate) creating a rocker effect on the binding when on board, which makes it impossible to crew down on board.

I have 2 pares of these bindings and all 4 of the plate systems are like this.

Any help would be great Thanks.

the new 08 Lf plates are made like that on purpose so when you screw it on all the way it actually bends the pieces flat so it's tighter on the board and makes it more responsive. The only problem is that it really is pretty much impossible to screw them on by hand. To get them as tight as they're supposed to be you need a drill. they don't explain that in the instructions but the dealers are supposed to tell you when you buy them

you need to put each screw in just a bit then tighten them all the way to get everything to set flush. When you do that the boots will rock side to side on most boards, but once you mount the boots to the board they will lock down. I would have said that maybe you have a defective pair, but since you said that they all do it, it leaves me to belive that it may be user error. I am not trying to sound like an a-hole but I have put well over 2 dozen of those bindings and never had a problem. I have put them on all sorts of boards.
