Suggestions to keep the ankle laces tight? The forefoot laces seem to stay tight on both feet, but the ankles are coming loose, particularly the back foot (i ride regular). Anybody changed out the lace cinch?

I ride a couple of 08 Murrays and from the looks of it the 09's have the same lace cinch. Mine have gotten worn out several times and i end up changing them about once every two months. It's kind of annoying to an in my opinion otherwise good boot.

What did you end up replacing? The lace or the cinch?

Seth - The Hyperlite lace locks are terrible. I did what Eddie is doing and just kept changing them out; however, some of the new ones I would receive wouldn't hold either. The best thing I've ever done was buy some runner's lace locks and put them OVER the old lace locks. It's somewhat of a pain because I have to slide down 2 locks on each lace now, but the boots stay nice and tight.

Just ones like these will work. You should be able to get them at a runner's shoe store like Luke's or Run On.

Thanks guys. I'll give the extra locks a try. One thing that I've noticed, if I've tried to cinch the boots real tight, the back boot gets loose. But, if they not quite as tight as I can make them, they don't come loose. Thanks for the tips!
