I'm a teacher/coach who wakeboards all summer, but I have a friend who is managing a marina. He wants to put on wakeboard competition, but none of the tours across the country he's been in touch with are down for stopping at our lake. He wants me to organize one which I could.
I've been in some competitions so I understand the formats and how they run, but does he have to front insurance for the competition? If you have the competitors sign a release are you still liable. What are the legal logistics of putting on a competition.
