Looks like you could straighten those arms a bit and stand more evenly over the board.

Dave said exactly it. You need more weight on your front foot and you need to let your arms out.

How fast are you going and what line length. I looks like your board is riding deap in the water, which would mean you are real slow.

Depends what your calibration is, but, 20 mph is pretty slow. Looks like your board is dragging bad. It is hard to tell, but, it does not look like you are hitting a clean wake. My boat has a hard time making a wake at around 20 mph plus the wake will be very wide at the speed. Try speeding up a mile or two and let the rope out a little. Your board will feel crisper getting from edge to edge and the wake may clean up too.

You don't have a wake. It is all foam. You can not be consisant with a wake like that. Try and show more of the bottom of the board to the people in the boat.

Dude, you must ride with your hands closer to your hips, it will make all tricks easier. push your hips forward toward the handle to keep you more upright. Don't put soo much weight on your back foot. Boat must got a little faster. You need a tower. You need a non-stretch rope with a bigger handle. Cut progressively.

Just go faster, and that will solve most of it.

Boat speed, the wake looks flat/washed out. Depending on weoght/other factors, you should probably start out around 21 mph.

i wouldn't necessarily agree with the "straightening of the arms" advice. i agree, the handle should be lower, closer to the hips, but straightening the arms might be bad wording.

It may be just me, but it looks to me like your bindings have your legs tweaked. Have your uncle sit in nose of the boat looking back at you. That should help clean the wake up. If you have tilt/trim, trim it about 1/4. Like all else said, a little more speed. (Message edited by grampawakerider on October 16, 2004)

Look at your left knee vs your left foot. At least in the pic it looks like you should point your binding out a little. Looks like your ankle is twisted.

jstu relax man you look too tense. Widen the stance, roll onto the back of the foot. edge all the way to the lake. let your arms out some and at the top of the wake pull the handle down to your hip. you should fly

your uncle is really the problem and handle down, not out. duck your left foot out, for sure

Im no expert but it looks like your bindings are pigion towed. toe them out a little. get the driver to go a little faster. hold the handle lower and cut harder. It doesnt look like a hard cut at all. which is what gives you your pop.
