Wake sport ranch soft opening

How was it? how cold is the water still? i was planning on going but decided to shred some fresh pow in angel fire instead of the freezing water in dallas. i am planning on going on the 20th so i wanted to know what warming options i should bring (wet suit, dry suit, shorty....etc)

It was great, the Water is about 50, it all depends on you, we had riders in Dry suits, full suits, spring suits and a lot in just heater tops and we even had a few that rode in Board shorts and a vest, hahaha crazy mofo's.

Drysuit for me please! The water was definitely cold but on a warm and sunny day a full or spring suit should be fine. Bring some flip flops for your walk back to the dock. You'll thank me later.

They are doing some dirt work this week, to make the walkway around the lake better on the feet.

They are also getting that flaxbox done and in the lake for this weekend.

Wakesport Ranch will be CLOSED this Saturday the 20th, due to the Cold,Wind and Rain we have coming our way.

We will be open today and Friday from 12:00noon to 7:00.

thanks for the update jeff. i get the news letter and now that the park is up and running i get regular updates including a notice that they will be closed this saturday so if anyone is interested you can go to their website http://wakesportranch.com/ and there is a tab on the first page where you can sign up for the news letter.

We signed a deal with CWB for the official board and our rental boards and bindings, CWB has been behind WSR from day 1.

We will have Hyperlite boards and bindings available to demo as well.

The weather looks perfect for today, Tuesday, March 23, Friday the 26th, Saturday, the 27th, and Sunday, the 28th. We are open those days this week from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m.

Always check the calendar on line before coming out to ride. We will try to provide at least two days notice of any changes to the schedule.

Jeff according to the calender the ranch isnt open this on the 1-3 is this gonna stay the same or are they considering being open?
