Elephant Butte Lake

Please help: I am a college student from Austin stuck in Albuquerque for the summer for an internship. The desert is killing me, how does anyone live in NM? If anyone is going out on Elephant Butte Lake or anywhere else remotely close to Albuquerque, please send me a message. I'm good for gas money, beer, and entertaining crashes. I'm staying in Belen (30 miles south of Albq.) and I am free every weekend as there is literally nothing to do here. Also, if anyone has ever been to Elephant Butte, do you think I could just show up to the dock and offer $$$ for a pull? Works on Lake Austin... I think I might try that tomorrow. Also an unrelated question: In my boredom I went to Wal-Mart and bought a trampoline. If anyone can offer me some advice on learning a back full (whirly), it would be much appreciated. I can do tantrum to blinds, but I cheat and do the spin off the mat/on the way up. I just can't seem to start spinning once i'm flipping, and I'm afraid if I really try I'll stop the flip and land on my head. I've separated both shoulders now on the tramp, so if anyone knows of a good way to build up to the back full, please let me know. Thanks
