I just downloaded a trial version of Adobe CS5 Premiere Pro to try out with my Panasonic TM700. It looks like Premiere only supports direct camcorder connections via Firewire. The TM700 has USB 2.0, HDMI and a multi-connector, but does not have a Firewire port. I know I have to be missing something here. Do any of you have experience with this and can provide any guidance?

did you record to the internal memory or a card? does your comp (not ppro) recognize your camera when you connect it? couldn't you just copy the files that's on the camera/card into a folder, then import that folder into ppro?

LOL - I spaced and missed the obvious on this. My computer recognizes the camera and I was able transfer to my HDD and then import to Premiere. Thanks Joe!
