Somehow water got into my fuel line friday afternoon. Obviously, the boat won't start now and I have to bring it to the shop to have all the lines cleaned. Not to mention I filled the tank. I am really confused at how water got into fuel lines. I had a full tank of gas, we have a new fuel/water separator (spell?).

You sure there's water then? How did you confirm this?

I unscrewed the fuel line coming from the fuel pump and it was spraying dirty water mixed with gas.

The boat has tons of power from the batter and wants to turn over, its just not getting clean gas.

did you just pull it out of winterization? WHen you stored it did u use a fuel saver? If u stored ur boat with a empty tank it will build up a ton of condensation inside that tank if u leave it for a long time.
