for skimboarders

i know that famous common question "can i use my skim board to wakesurf?"
but im going to switch it around
i have a hyperlite coex. i love to skimboard and i have some type of zap skim board that i am not able to go out and surf the waves back in. i was wondering if my coex would make a good skimboard

hey i was just wondering the same thing about my phase 5 board but i think it would make a good skimboard if you took out the fins but im not sure but my phase 5 board is in the skimsurf section so i think it would be ok

me too because phase 5 is amde by zap skimboards and they are basically the same thing
i still wonder if mine would make a good one

The Coex doesn't have the right rocker or rails but the Phase 5 are basically mid-level Zap Skimboards.

edit: the Drew Danielo model ought to ride pretty good in the ocean.
