I just want to show you my x-2 with the best setup i have found:

Standard ballast full (650 lbs)
Bow ballast: two side sacs (2x250 lbs)
rear storage: two additional hard tanks (2x330 lbs)
no.1 left ballast: bg fat sac (600 lbs)
no.2 left ballast: 1000 lbs sac 1/2 full (500 lbs)
right ballast: my wife ;-) (135 lbs)

Total 3045 lbs.

With this setup i have a lot of fun only with my wife. No more people needed.

Here are some pics:

As you can see the no.1 left ballast is in the left seat storage room.

The no.2 left ballast is on top of the left seats. I use this sac only if my wife is alone!

The surf pic is taken without the no.2 ballast but with 2 people on the left side.

Reto,
I have surfed that X-2 with just the starboard ballast full and one 500lbs sac on top of that with only two people in the boat. The surf wake behind the new X-2 is amazing we can surf about 15-20ft off the platform. I will try and take some pics next time we go. Have surfed the driver's side yet, it is just as good. For only a 20ft boat the surf wake is as good as any big boat out there.

Reto, I like the way you over-load your X-2. Do you know anyone or has anyone out there ever surfed the X-45? That seems to be biggest and heaviest of the tailerable wakeboard boats.

There are some x-45 pics on www.inlandsurfer.com. Go to the action shot seciton. May be the second or so page. We had full ballast, one sac in the locker and one on the side seat. It was pretty big, but not as clean as the 24 Enzo.

Sorry, the pics are on the first page of action shots and say Lake WA riding.

Thanks Mark. Looks like the X-45 has a big wake, but not any bigger than a lot of the pics on Inland Surfer. Judging from the way Reto overloads his boat (looks like 1400lbs over the recommended limit), you could get the total weight of the X-45 up to 9000 to 9500lbs, with a decent list of course. I wonder what THAT would look like???
