3:30 right now, and still smokey, but not as bad a this morning. Wind - bout 3-5 mph and dropping. Should make for a Great "Butter Ride" and sunset tonight. I'll be in Old River by about 5:00 surfing. Stop and say hi.

Yeah its damn smoky,but it keeps the sunburns to a minimum and this weather pattern has killed the delta winds so lots of butter at all times on the delta right now......pretty much ideal, I've gotten used to the smoke, I'll take it over windy and clear any day

Saturday looked like an overcast day, but it was all smoke.

Sunday was a lot better.

coming back to the bay this evening the top of diablo was cut off about a 1/4 of the down with a straight line of smoke around it. trippy looking. lots of ash fall in the bay area yesterday.
