hey im planning to build a slider this summer right off the beach in front of my cabin. the one thing im worried about is if it is stationary, will i be liable if some yahoo comes and busts his skull on it while im gone?

Yeah... If you build a stationary one... Don't let anyone know that you built it. And have it all set up to just drop in the water real fast... That way it's not there one day, and the next, it just kind of appears... Shhhh... I haven't been planning something like this on my lake...

But in all seriousness, I want to drop in a stationary slider out where I live, but it would be classified as a boating hazard and probably destroyed very quickly. Unless I drop it in right before BROstock and pull it out afterwards. However, I think I'll just be building a floating one so that I don't have to worry about being liable for someone running into it with their boat...

just wrap a chain around it a couple times with a lock, ive seen it done 2 or three times
