Looking into buying a sea doo wake edition jet ski. Has anyone ever rode behind one and if so what is the wake like with the ballast? Does it have any pop? Any information anyone has would be great. The web site just didnt give me enough input. Thanks everyone.

Are you looking to skate only? If you are the wake edition is a waste, just go find a deal on a regular GTX and rock that for skating - I've been thinking about buying one as well to use around my place for skating (and to save some moola on gas for the days when no one else really wants to ride). You can easily get a 2002, with trailer, GTX for about $4000 from a private seller, check out craigslist.

You don't really buy a ski for the wake, but if you're doing inside out ollies/shuvs, it does have a pretty nice transition (but in all honesty all jetskis throw the same sluff).
