So My boat wasn't running right and we decided it was probally water in the fuel. Someone reccommended Seafoam and said it works great to pass the water through the system and stabilize the tank. Anybody use it or heard anything? Thanks

I have used it before in trucks. Some people have issues with it but i never have. I thought it was a good product but i am sure there are a few people that will say different.

I have in all My gas engines,

its the same concept of using water to break up the ( dang word escapes me ) not setiment CARBON!

In the engine, BE VERY VERY CAREFUL! you can hydro lock your engine with it...

Hydro lock the engine with the Seafoam? Is that a common thing or just make sure I use it as directed?

Yes,

The engine will be running and your pouring it Directly into the engine.. If you pour to fast or to much it could cause a hydro lock.

Most times at a slow steady pace as the directiosn say it will shut off the motor... THen a re cracnk and LOTS of white smoke.

just b careful

I've been using Seafoam for years in my truck, bike, boat, tractors, car, etc....If it has an engine I use it. I put it in the gas, oil, throttle body(while the engine is running) & I even unhook the hose from my pcv valve and suck it in there.

I don't know that I would count on it for a quick fix to remove water though. I would probably get something specifically for that.
