Is special for me. Last year I lost my best friend while he was away serving in Iraq. I really cant describe the feeling of that kind of loss. So this memorial day, please take a moment while out partying or kicking back and give thanks to the brave men and women of this country, both past and present who have done thier duty to keep this great country free. God bless our troops and thier families.

I thank them everyday, sorry to hear about your friend.

I really hope nobody else turns this into a political thread.

Enjoy the day like your buddy would if he was with you, cheers.

man i wish people would understand that the true religion always preaches peace and the golden rule. Anything that tells you to kill anyone and how to live is a cult not a religion. All religions preach the golden rule the extremists tend to take them too far. You friend is a hero and I and everyone else in this country is greatfull for his service. We should always support our troops, our country and the men who protect it.

Every time I talk with somebody that has served I let them know how they are appreciated. When I walk by some soldiers I make it a point to thank them for what they do for all of us. It's funny when you thank them and they say "I'm just doing my job."

Thanks for the past, present and future!

Happy Memorial Day...

Well, I am sitting here in the USO about to hop on the jet to the desert for a few months, and I have to say that all of your support means more than you know!

Next time you are out on the water and you feel like you can not even hold on to the rope for one more pull... take your dress off and get one more run in for me!

Nbeihl - next run is for you.

I was listening to the radio today and was overwhelmed with gratitude for all those who have done so much for my freedom. Thank you.
