Quick Capacitor Question

I got a nice Digital 1F cap sitting in my garage from a old car system. Besides the digital display is there really any point at putting it in. I am only running about 1000watt rms system. If I did put it in is possible to put it before the three inline fuses or does it have to be after?

Id be more worried about the cap still being good... As they age they loose their capacitance...

If you have it fused just put it there, however it shouldn't matter

Don't even waste your time.

Unless yrou system is huge 4k RMS+, dont; even think abtou them.
