Sub mounting location in 21v

I'm getting ready to start the sub install in my 07' supra 21v. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for mounting locations and firing direction? I'm thinking maybe 1 or 2 12" subs under the steering wheel. Has anyone tried to have them fire down or is straight back going to give a better result? Also I should add that it will be a sealed enclosure. Any input is greatly appreciated.

i had a kicker L7 in my old 21v with a ported box under the steering wheel and it hit very hard and still left me with all my storage. mine fired out......

I went with two 10's in a ported box. It hits pretty hard. Ive seen an install in a 22ssv that is downfired and it hits even harder.
