Posting this for a buddy of mine. Hes got a 99 san with the gt40. the boat has been having an intermittent problem. Every third outing or so, the boat will stall and refuse to run. It will be running fine all day, and just idleing around getting ready to pull the next rider the engine dies. It seems like its loading up with gas, but we are not exactly sure. We've replaced plugs, wires, and distributer. We are getting spark. Is there an air sensor, or temp sensor used to choke the engine? Both fuel pumps seem to working correctly (the cell has fuel in it). We cannot get it to reproduce the problem on the trailer, and the dealer is going to rape my buddy on diagnostic costs since its intermittent. does the GT40 spit out codes we can read?
