I am looking out at the lake and can hardly see the other side through the rain. Other than that the water is perfect. How much rain would you ride in? I don't usually go out in more than a light drizzle.

It's not too bad riding in a light rain, usually the water is really nice, but its how wet you can deal with your boat's interior getting...

If I wasn't on the DL I'd go out in it. We can't see Mecer from Newcastle, but it's just drizzle not really rain. Unsnap the carpet, rasie the bimini, meet those NWHC fools (them boys ain't right ) and go riding. Rain-X on the windshield keeps it clear. This time of year isn't the problem because it's relatively warm. Riding Christmas Eve day in the rain is another thing.

I went this morning in light rain and rode two sets in super flat water, it was great. My buddy and I are both married with kids so when we set a time to go - we go. However, usually if it's raining more than a drizzle it's windy too and not worth riding. I am OK with any two of: wind, rain, and cold.

The local police called me out by name from their squad car during a tornado warning saying "Sullivan, get off the lake". We heard the sirens, my wife called me on my cell, and we were heading to the boat ramp.

I have been out in a texas downpour but it gets to the point where you can't see where you are going on the water or in the boat. Those are some nice pictures but you can see the shoreline in the background so it must not have been raining too hard. My limit is usually when I have trouble seeing.

I have ridden in rain up until the point that it hurts, and then it is the waiting game for the glorious post rain butter that I have come to appreciate.
