I was watching HGTV and a show came on called "Million Dollar Rooms" and they showed John Winn, owner of Four Winns and his pad built around his boat house. Crazy!

^^ I bet you it smells of rich Mahogany and leather bound books!

Damn that is sweet. I'd love to have a bunch of old Chris Craft/ Wood boats.

Wow! Sweet setup.

Speaking of rich boaters.... I snapped this picture of Hobie Alter's place a few years ago. He's the guy who owns Hobie Cat & has a place in Puget Sound near Seattle. I guess he built this boat on his own, and it's made similar to how his 14' catamarans or a surf board are made.

I could see myself in a house like that.

mainly like doing a repair or something, getting paid, and then being told to leave...

I think I could learn to live with any occasional fish smell in a place like that. Amazing! The water is crystal clear. What body of water is that on?

Watched the same show, just didn't realize it was the owner of four winns. I thought he was just a regular boat enthusiast and just liked working on them and somehow made a killing doing it. Guess that's exactly what Mr. Winn did...

Pretty dope setup....

I think he sold of Four Winns some time between 1997 and 2004 to Genmar. Genmar is now being sold off a little at a time.

I don't like it. Not a wakeboard boat in sight.

What do you guess is keeping someone from swimming under those big doors right on the water? I'm guessing he has that taken care of with some sort of alarm.

Our doors go to the water on our boat house, you can swim under, and i've had to do it before when i got locked out, but honestly with the 12 ft gator that more than one person has seen under my pier, I'll just be locked out if that ever happens again, cuz i am not going under it again haha. But for ours its not half as elaborate as these obviously, but its nice to have, heated in the winter and cooled in the summer, and if you were to swim under the boathouse doors you couldn't get in the house without a key anyway, and there are some serious locks down there, not to mention surveillance cameras all around. You can see the three "garage" type doors on the right, the far right slip has a platform with jetski bunks on it for jetskis (obviously), the one in the middle is for the BU, and the one on the right is for the party boat/pontoon boat. crack on it if you'd like but that thing will get up to 35 MPH, can carry the party to the sandbar, and works as a nice little "on the water work shop" for building sliders on the river (which is our current project). Like i said, maybe not as nice as those, but its literally ON the water, and we actually have a "wakeboard boat" in there haha.

kind of a bad pic but you get the idea.

Thanks for telling us how to break into your house! Looks like you did some renovations from the difference in the two pics.

Haha, not really, first I can promise you, you'd NEVER find the house, but if you did by some miracle...braved the gators, got in the boathouse, all while somehow dodging the cameras, you'd have to blow up the door to get in. It wouldn't be worth the effort.

No renovations in the two pics. One is just from the boat and the other from the driveway.

All some one will have to do is look at your profile and hack your cameras and alarms and a little c4 charge on the door trust me nothing in this world is as safe and secure as people think. Not that I would do that or have any reason. Just a mental illustration.

How are there no renovations??? One has a screened porch running most of the second floor while the other has a wall of windows and a glassed in room below.

Nick my bad, I have a few pics from that same spot in the first one I thought I posted the most recent one. The second one is the most recent one yes it's a screened in porch up there. The glass wall is still there, that middle section of the house is an indoor pool that's why it's all glass. Sorry about that
