This may be obvious but is it possible to flip it around?

Is the platform that you are bolting it to made of wood? If so, possibly it has warped slightly?

adam,

If you want more ideas, you should clarify the situation. Is this right:

You took the arch off of the boat for the winter, leaving the two mounting feet on the boat. As far as you know, nothing happened to the arch or the boat while stored.

Now, when you tried to put it on you can only pin/bolt the arch to one of the feet because once the one side is in place, the holes on the other side won't line up.

How do they not line up? Are the axes different (twisted) or are the hole centers just off from one another? Does it seem like you would need to twist the bar to get them to line up or only bend it in or out? Let us know.

I've had the same thing happen with mine. Try pulling one or both of the top pins out if you haven't already done that.

The width is adjustable. Pull the top pins out, attach the bars to the mounts and THEN put the top pins back in. That should work.

If you mean the tube diameter, it's 2 1/2". Monster tower makes an excellent rack that fits nicely and as an added bonus, the rack comes off with the flip of a handle and the base stays with the tower.
