Bought an Ipod Nano (2ndGen) for my husband to use while we wakeboard (Tired of forgetting the CD's). The boats stereo does not have an ipod port in front. What attachments do I need to buy so we can listen to it on Christmas morning when we wakeboard?
I keep forgetting to check this board so PLEASE email me at mjs1@surewest.net

THANKS!

You don't list what type of stereo you have so how are we supposed to help you?

Even from not knowing the type of head unit you have on your boat you can most always buy an iPod adapter. Clarion, alpine, kenwood, etc all have them. They just plug into the back of the deck and directly into the iPod or nano. Definitely search "iPod adapter for --insert your head unit here--" in google and you'll find tons of results. Good luck!

Thanks DRA -jayLind (_jason_) you were very helpful. I knew the stereo manufacturer wouldnt matter to someone who was into audio equiptment.

Good luck with your google search. If you have an older stereo, it's a bit more complicated. I would have gladly told you what product to buy and where to get it with a little more info but I guess you got it figured out. Good luck.

Need to know the model number to give an exact answer. Your profile lists your boat as a Supra... Supra's stock stereos are Kenwoods. So not sure what model you have.

I have the Harman Kardon Drive + Play system in my boat, and it works great. I have a Clarion system, but I don't think it really matters so long as your stereo has an Aux-In connector (most today do). But you better get it quick. They came out w/ Drive + Play v2, which cost ~ $400. Drive + Play v1 can still be had for a 10th of that:

Check Pricegrabber.com there is a seller called overstockdealz that has them for $25. I just got one in last week. They are great.
there is also someone else on Amazon who has them cheaper than the link above
