NWWF #5 Pateros Washington

Ok folks,

It's time to start getting a head count for the gathering this year.

The Dates are 08/25 -08/31.

The motel is booked but there are always last minute openings. There is camping and RV hookups just down the street. Alta Lake Golf Course still has rooms available as well.

We will be having the King of Crash competition again this year, along with the Idiot Kicker exhibition.

Friday we're having the Seven Hole Golf Tourney. It starts at 7am, we play 7 holes, all holes are par 7, you are allowed to use a 7 iron and a putter. The drink of choice will be Seagrams Seven and 7up.

Saturday night will be a pot luck bbq and a raffle with all proceeds going to charity.

This event is very family freindly so no worries if the kiddies are coming.

That's all I've got right now but I'm sure others will have pics, comments, contributions from past years.

I'm in, how about an appearance from you Robert. I know Bryan and a few others are heading over on Tuesday as well. We'll be heading out to the houseboats on Friday, so there should be a couple of weekend rooms availabe for anyone that wants to just come for the weekend.

For some reason I was thinking five. Keep in mind there all becoming a blur to me. I've been going ever year since 90, back when it was a work/golf function.

Do any of you know people that own property in or around Pateros? I was looking forward to this event before I realized I'll be back in school at that time.

I've only driven through in early June, never been out on the lake. What will the water temps be like? (If anyone has info on what the range is from say, mid-May through late September that would be appreciated.

Looks like this year's potluck and raffle are shaping up nicely.

Man I wish I could make it. With trying to dredge a channel with my boat, going to the ocean the week before, and going to the inlaws the week after.... I just can't afford it again!!@# And my sis in law lives 100 yards from the dock too!

I hit up Wiley for the raffle. I have one of the ugliest tube type things that is Barney purple. Why anyone would pay $150 for a tube is beyond me. Maybe we just tow it and use it to jib on??? I will also be hitting up the shops here in CDA. If anyone in the Northern Idaho/Spokane area needs a lift, let me know.

Jakober, you get the first of the week off yet??? Don't make me listen to Barry Manilow on the road trip by myself.
