just recently upgraded the crossovers and and drivers on my skylon deafcon iv's.... the results were pretty mind mind blowing.....

changed out the image dymamic/selenium base drivers and crossover with the following -

Beyma 8G40 woofers
Selenium D210TI HCLD
Selenium 2V2K/350 crossovers

the cost to upgrade all 3 (i run a trio setup) was $720 otherwise $240 a enclosure.. it is a farily simple modifaction except the crossover has to be mounted in the woofer cabinet due the size of the horn and crossover...

the sound- LOUD, CLEAR, and CLEAN..... the beyma's are expensive but the sound quality and loudness is incredible (i am using a zapco 1100.1 running balanced from headunit to symbilink controller at 2.87 ohm load). i also think the crossover upgrade play a huge part in the upgrade also (will post pics later - really big difference in the parts )

highly recommended if want or need a upgrade to your skylon deafcon iv's or v's.

btw, i am looking for a single deafcon v if anyone has one and would like to sell it
