I am running my entire boat with red led's from bow to stern and the project is all planned and stuff down to my last dilemma. I can not find what i feel to be some reliable under water stern lights. I would love them to be powerful and run the full deck. Any product names would be helpful because I am stuck on where to look. i tried previous searches but nothing came up. I have also sketched up my ideas for cup holders but if anybody has any brilliant ideas for that i would love the input.

Thanks
Chris Cote

I know its probabally pretty getto by some peoples standards. But I made a 5 led light bar out of trailer brake lights. It cost me a grand total of $100, and is super bright, even in the dark green water we have around here.

I just couldn't see spending as much as some of these guys. We aren't out after dark as much as I'd like anyway.

I just pulled the trigger on 100 red single bulb leds. 1 set of blue 4 pods, one set of red 5 pods 2 sets of red 4 pods. (4 in each set.) from www.plasmaled.com. And last but not least 2 x8000's under water led's from bulletlines.com. All will be installed by the end of the month. Blue shining on the swim deck and under the deck. Red throughout the floor and in the cup holders.

Just for you Bill... I just returned from Grants (yes it is 1:30am).

I will be doing more tests tomorrow night in the pool with some light meters and more pictures then in the garage for some min/max/average light output analysis. It will probably take me a day or so to put the results into graphical format. I will probably start a new thread because the original thread is way too big and contains lots of irrelevent stuff that takes too long too load.

My apologies to Grant. This was supposed to be done over a month ago but the premature arrival of my twin baby boys created a huge distraction and bumped this task off my list until this weekend.

Nice. Those blue ones look sweet, even in the greenish water.
Would be great to label each one too.

Its hard to tell from the pics, but is the camera directly above the light? it looks like it is out in front of the light, maybe a quick mspaint kindegarten drawing of the setup.

Thanks guys, this is really cool
