Has anyone angled there tower speakers to the side? I can hear my radio good out in the flats but if I an directly behind the boat it is just blasting (like I want). I was wondering if I angled the speakers where they are pointing out to the side if I could hear it better when setting up for my jump?

Are tower speakers in stereo? Two channels pointing away from each other would sound like crap. Not that you can hear them good enough to tell a difference. It would be cool to mount them with a pivoting base and connect that base to the rope in some way. This way the speakers are always pointing at the rider.

Some of the boxes that these guys build address the need for sound out in the flats, designing them with 4-6x9's or 6-6.5's mounted in an arc fashion. If you have the cans, perhaps a minimum of six pointed at different angles to spread sound from one side to the other might not be/look so bad.

Rootc: Hmmm....interesting concept!!!! Anyone willing to venture the project?

I angled mine and moved them further apart. Sounds better in the flats, but its aimed at the boards in the racks now.....

oh it carries for sure, one of the things i think about when we are in bayous/coves with houses on either side. All we need to do is get the public on a witch hunt for wakeboarders. Just be cool around the neighbors and more laws wont be enacted to prevent you from having a wake or music turned up while riding.
