I am looking for ideas on where to put ballast. does it have a front locker. also is there enough room under the back seat to put in a tank?

There is a ski locker in the boat. It should hold about 350 pounds. The back seat on other hand is a pain in the a#s. The problem is that the support is divided into 3 small sections and there is no way to put a ballast bag under it as it is. So instead this summer I'm rebuilding mine so that there is one large compartment and I'm planning on it holding about 450 pounds.

There isn't alot of space to hide stuff in the boat and lead might be the best option for some people. I can't do it because we trailer quite a bit and our tow vehicle doesn't need any more weight to haul around.

If I still owned my Nauty, I would build a custom rear seat with a built in water tank...or rather a built in water tank, with a seat on top. Fiberglass would be the material of choice, with a wood frame.

Lead works well, but is not neutrally buoyant, and harder on the trailer/tow rig.
