weighting a 2005 Centurion Avalanche

i'm going to be using one that we took in trade at my shop antill i can get a 2010 tige. i'm just wondering how i should weight it. i have plenty of fat sacs(3,000lbs worth) and can get more if needed. it has the black scorpion merc. in it so also what prop should i run on it to get it out of the hole as fast as possible. thanks in advance. i have no experence with Centurion's so any advice you have would be great.

I asked the guys OWA how they weight there team boat and this is the reply Derek sent me.

We actually loaded our Avy with factory (there were three for us), two bags in the back locker, and two in the front under the seats. We found it pretty important to put as much weight in the front as in the back. Is yours the C4 or the walk through. If its the C4, put as much as possible in the back compartments, and the put either backs or lead in the front under the seats. We had two 350lb bags under the seats in ours, although, they were not filled completely. Is any of that possible for you guys?

Also, are you having any problems with the portside wake crumbling. If you are, we have a pretty good fix for that as well.

I had a 2005 Avalanche. We ran 400's on each side of the motor. About 300#'s of lead in the front and often put a sac in the floor if we didn't have enough passengers.

Several of the Avalanches that year had port side roll-over. We found that we needed about 100#'s extra weight on the port side.
