I'm sure it may depend of different factors for everyone, but for the most part, which do you ultimately prefer?

It depends alot on the board. If it has deep molded in fins you can probably get away with going finless and still track well and be able to do wake jumps (like the Premier). I wouldnt do it with a board like the Parks or TFD unless your planning on doing nothing but lots of power slides - still a fun ride though! I personally prefer using smaller fins (less than an inch).

Yeah Christine hit it on the head. Depends on the board. I like the really loose feel, but on some boards that means with fins.

I used to ride my o'brien option finless, but I have since got a 1" for the back and shaved down one of the included 1.5" to 1" and it hooks up much better now on landings.

depends on the board obviously. on my belmont i remove the center fin. i've tried riding it completely finless but had trouble keeping it locked it at the top of the wake toeside. but it is fun.

on the absolute i rode finless, which simply means taking out the center fin as it has molded side fins.

i think pretty much any board i would ride w/o the center fin. but not completely finless. i like a loose ride but not that loose.

My foot balance is terrible! I ride with the largest fins I can find!

I ride my Player 138 w/out fins. It's easier to do surface moves.
