I have a few questions. I have been looking at boards and bindings. What would be good for a first time boarder? I have had no previous experience. I was loking at a CWB Sol, Liqiud Force Search, and Hyperlite Fluid. What bindings would be good? Are any certain lubes better than others for getting into them?

Lubes are pretty much the same, just remember to get the enviro-friendly kind.
Bindings: Take a look at the LF Alphas. Best thing to do if you have a boardshop near you, is to go in and try a few pairs on and see whats comfortable.

Which board would be the best out of those three, or are there others?

the best would be to demo the boards and pick the one you like best!

Try the LF Diva in a 134cm. It's a great shape that you can progress on.
Out of those three you listed I think you'd be better off with the CWB.

David is right, try the Diva, great shape to learn and progress on.
Out of those 3, I'd go with the fluid, but there's not alot in it.
As Alee said, te best would be to demo.
Make sure you buy a nice life vest aswell.

The CWB Sol w/ the Mobe Bindings is a great starter package. The board is wide, so it is very stable and it has a 4-channel bottom with a continous rocker, so it tracks realy well. The bindings are super comfy and really easy to get into. I love them. You should try them on at one of your local dealers. Like people said it is always good to demo boards, but I don't think you would be dissapointed with the CWB Sol.

Yes, Yes, Yes, Dont buy with out demo. You might be wasting money. If you know others that wakeboard ask to try theres.Dont pick one because it looks cool, or is sponsered by your favorite rider, or cost the most. What works for you might not work for the next person. Bindings are a little easier to pick. Something that will support the ankles, and is comfortable. You can try them in the store. ( If you can get them off. He He He ) Welcome to the Life. You wont regret it. If you are like me and my son, all you think about soon will be the next ride.
Buywake.com, and wakeside.com have really good prices. But you can also find good deals on new boards, and bindings on ebay once you decide what you want. The local dealers are usually high, but if they are good will give you good service.
Good luck, and I agree with above, get a good vest. US coast gaurd approved. they are not to look good, but to hold you up, if you get knocked out.
