What are the differences between the 2007 SST and the 2008? Is it just graphics? I know Liquid Force is coming out with an Aaron Reed graphic. I have seen two different SST 42s. I currently have an SST with red letters and nautical stripes on the base, but there is no continuation of the bottom graphic on top, it's just black. I know there is an SST with yellow SST letters on the base but i'm not too sure if there are other differences. Can anyone help me out? Besides graphic, is there a difference?

I noticed that as well, and I want to guess and say that the SSTs with yellow lettering were prototypes or samples for team riders. There's also a top deck that has stripes on it, but the limited edition decks that they eventually sold were solid black.

If I remember correctly, the 42 is going to remain the same. The 40.5 will be a bit different in that it's going to be a symmetrical shape.

The 42 is an asymmetrical shape too. They used the impulse as a template. There is very little difference between the 40.5 and the 42.

I'm pretty sure they're getting rid of the PBT base that was on the 07 and painting the graphics on the 08. They had some PBT peeling issues...

Not really sure what PBT means!

Joshua, is the material that is used as the top sheet of wakeboards. some wakeskates have it as the base to slide better and last longer.
