i didn't make it.

hwy 4 was closed both directions at union point bridge due to a wreck involving 2 semis.

yeah, we sat there for about 15-20 minutes hoping that the road would open. then the news said that "hwy 4 will be closed for some time to clear the wreckage." unfortunately, the only other ways i know to get to orwood would've taken us an hour (give or take) to get there from where we were. so, we turned around.

Boy that sucks, I keep hearing rumors that they're going to take the UP bridge down and straighten out that bend with a new more diagonally oriented fixed bridge.

Thanks again for the pull Evan. It was great to get out again for sure. I think we proved that 3rds are totally overrated.
