Just curious to see who actually thinks that X Games will fall flat on its face without wakeboarding and why. I'm a wakeboard junky, but I am pretty sure the X Games will do OK without wakeboarding (I do agree with everyone else in the wakeboarding community that it sucks it was removed). The exposure wakeboarding gets from the X Games is fantastic, but I kind of think wakeboarding needs the X Games more than the X Games needs wakeboarding. Not trying to start any kind of argument, debate, or anything. Just personal opinion.

Oh I think ESPN will find something to fill in that 15min of missing "wakeboarding" space.

Won't happen. There is a much bigger world out there than the sport of wakeboarding.
Living here in the "so called capitol" of wakeboarding - Central FL, I still come across a lot of people who have no idea what it is AND they're natives.
How they relate to what I'm talking about - " is it that park off of 528?"
Water skiing and Barefoot skiing is still pretty big out here that and fishing.
