So was out on Saturday and one of my passengers asked me if I seen my decal? I looked down and one of my stickers just got ripped off. I assume it was from the water. I never hit anything nor are there any marks, anything in pic you see is glue. I also assume it is covered, but has this ever happen to anyone?Upload

You are having a tough go at this.
I don't really have any advice just hope it works out better than your last problem.

crazy, followed your last thread and hate to see you start another. Easy fix and the wake is still sweet

Seems odd for it to rip in half like that. Could you have rubbed the guide post on the trailer? Did you dock it anywhere at all?

Anyway, easy fix and at least you're not posting with a mechanical issue!

No my guide rails are way above stickers and have pads, and there is a slant to the boat and rail around boat. Have not even docked it, but like I said if I did there would be rub
I know not that big of deal but after last issue its just one lil thing

Sweet colors though! That is one of the nicest looking 215s I've seen.

I think your boat is telling you she wants to be naked. Out with the heat gun and adhesive remover to finish the job!

I agree with john. He has a royal blue VLX and has taken off the stickers. It looks awesome.

I am not sure where your breather is for your gas, but when I filled my gas tank up too much it ate away at the decal. Not sure if your is the same but just an idea of how it might have happened. If it is gas coming through the breather get a hold a sanger and have them ship you the one way valve to stop this from happening.

3m adhesive remover. Works awsome just make sure and put a good coat of wax on her when your done. If you wanna make it real easy park her in the sun on a hot day and right at the end of the day go after the decals they come off realy easy when it`s hot out. then wax her in the morning and go show her new look off..

Goof off works great, just put the boat out in the sun on a hot day and pull those stickers. The boat will look much sweeter w/o them

Hey Jason,

I'm also having problems with my decals on my 237. It's a brand new boat and three separate decals have started to peel. It is a bit unfortunate, but luckily that seems to be the main problem with the boat so far. Something warranty could handle easily, im sure.

My decals do this and it tends to happen while towing on the freeway. I need to heatgun mine off, I am sick of dealing with it but they do provide nice protection.

What a drag..... I don't suppose you use a rather steep ramp, Jason?

Go naked. The boat will look way better.

I have an 07 Supra 22 SSV, mine have ripped just like that a few times. usually after surfing. I live on a lake and never trailer.

I had my dealer put some of the 3M ( clear bra?) over the leading edge of my decals.

Jason dont worry about buying the name brand adhesive remover i work at a fiberglass shop and we deal with decals all the time just use acetone wont damage the gel coat at all and will remove the adhesive just fine, its what we use.
