what were the straps on the guy for that was using the wakeskate

That's the Endless Wake. It's basically a tread-mill coated with carpet and slanted slightly down (declined). (so that pc of carpet is moving in the picture). At that moment there happened to be slack in the rope so it's hard to tell. Anyway, they were doing shuvits and surface spins, flipping the board and dropping in. It was pretty cool. Saw some pretty hard bails. When you fall on the belt, it throws you off the back of the machine. The harness saves you from getting tossed.

not sure. I think that one was in the Pro Flight Tower booth. You could proably contact them for info.

That Endless wake thing looked neat
to do. What did you all think of the boat show this year?

By the way, it was set up in the Pro-Flight booth.

Pro-Flight had a contest that day and the winner got a tower. Carpet wakeskating.

A guy there at the proflight booth told me that the machines are for sale, but I don't have any additional info.....

I thought that the boat show was pretty sweet. But it was my first time going...so I had nothing to compare it against.

Levi is right they are for sale. I think they go for around $1300 or somewhere around there.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually surprised..I would have figured they'd go for more than that.

It was good to meet you also. I'd say that when your knee gets better you should come out riding w/ me this summer...but I'm moving to Boise, Idaho in about a month. But hey..if you want to come up to the potato land...you're always welcome. You can give Sidewayz something to film up there! :-)

I doubt that this price includes the tower that's mounted to it though. Without that, it could get ugly.

Yea Rich,
I remember all the ski shops used to have these things to teach people how to snow ski.
Well fortunetly for us, now we can use the same set-up to train for wakeskating, even wakeboarding.
Yea - I remember, they used to have a giant contraption. It was years ago - but we can use the same technology for us today.
